I've always loved the idea of an escape from reality. So for years, my best friend and I often played the "what if" game as we sat in the Baskin Robbins off Highway 6 in our hometown of Portage, Indiana. After we finished our ice cream, it was as if we'd returned from an adventure to other worlds, other realms.
Then, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in musical theater and instead found myself immersed in the world of beauty and wellness. For nearly 20 years, I worked as a Director of Operations and Makeup Artist. In the midst of that was a complex series of dramatic events, leading me away from that work and right back to where it all began: Storytelling.
